Coaching

Working in the music industry for almost 25 years has made our executive producer, Anji Turner (aka Lacheela), the person and producer she is today. With thousands of records under her belt, she has worked with and written for many successful artists as well as produced music for commercials, films, and children's learning programs. Spending her early career working with the legendary Tony Platt (Bob Marley) and Phil Harding (The Clash, Boyzone, East 17, Rick Astley Pet Shop Boys etc) has not only made Anji a tough sound engineer but a very knowledgeable one too.

As a highly experienced sound engineer working on many tours over the years with chart topping artists, she is respected for her technical knowledge in professional live sound equipment and large live events.

A current panel judge for music competitions Open Mic UKTeenstar and Undiscovered Talent UK as well as an artist development producer for Future Music, Anji has helped launch many professional music careers over the years using her experience and knowledge of the music industry to support her artists in navigating the opportunities and pitfalls that they can come across in their career.

If you would like to discuss one on one mentoring just fill in the contact form below and Anji will personally get in touch.

A note from Anji

"Hard work, perseverance and a willingness to keep learning have provided me with a long and successful career. I welcome any opportunity to pass on my experience to help young artists, emerging sound engineers, and producers get an honest foothold in the industry. There is so much you don't know coming into this industry that isn't obvious from the outset and no one wants to tell you, even some of those expensive music industry courses. You can find so many examples of successful artists who had to make a lot of mistakes and made a lot of bad deals before they got anywhere. There are also many examples of young artists recruited from an early age and manipulated into something they don't want to be. My mission is to help as many artists as possible avoid this. For those I mentor, past and present, my door is always open and my phone is always on."
